Projects
Video-Tapes of New teaching Strategies through Area Teaching Demonstration started Summer 2006. Each area head started preparation and video-taping of some new teaching strategies, the purpose of which is to make the students more participative in class following the philosophy that “ Class activities should be student-centered and that the professor should only act as facilitator of learning”.

The following strategies are going to be demonstrated in actual class situations, video-taped and viewed by all faculty for their reactions/ evaluations/ discussions for fine-tuning/ editing before it is finalized.

• The Cooperative Learning Model
• The Inductive Model
• The Concept Attainment Model
• The Integrative Model
• The Problem-Based Learning Model

These taped lessons will be kept on file for reference as the need arises. This will come in handy especially for new faculty hirees.
