Information technology has changed our language, our means of communication, our social interactions, our corporations, and our governments. Because information technology is such a pervasive cultural influence, Colegio de San Juan de Letran find it fitting to produce graduates that are not just students in technical disciplines but also equipped with the ability to evaluate this aspect of our world in the light of a Reformed perspective.

    Information technology skills are essential for gainful employment. A majority of employers hiring college graduates in today’s world expect not just the basic skills in using a computer but the proficiency in using this resource. Information technology, when properly used, allows students to explore the world, and their own discipline, in ways that would otherwise be difficult or impossible.Information technology continues to influence our personal lives.     Objectives

    The program aims to educate and train students in the aspects of information technology concerned with the development, implementation and maintenance of information systems in a wide variety of organizational contexts. More so;
    • To be able to produce graduates that can respond to IT industry needs of the 21 st century.
    • To be able to produce IT professionals that demonstrates an understanding of the characteristics of information systems and their role within organizations.
    • To be able to produce IT professionals who know how to evaluate and select appropriate methods and technologies for representing, managing, and disseminating information as a resource.
    • To be able to produce graduates who are not just degree holders but certified in their field of specialization that has worldwide recognition.
    • To be able to produce IT professionals that are competent in the field of information system implementation, using sound principles of analysis and design and demonstrates practical competence in a range of current software systems.
    • To be able to produce world-class graduates in the field of Information Technology with competence in software development, systems administration, network engineering and database administration.
