A Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) was signed between Colegio de San Juan de Letran Manila and Infotrade Consultant of Malaysia after exploratory talks between the representatives of the two institutions proved to be positive and fruitful.

In the M.O.U., Letran and Infotrade Consultant agreed to explore all possible venues for educational opportunities and collaboration that will mutually benefit their students and staff. Among these are: An international internship program for Malaysian students at Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the hotel and hospitality discipline; a six-month internship program in Malaysia for Letran Manila students, with Infotrade Consultant providing the necessary facilities for training; and a possible visit by Letran Manila faculty to Malaysia to assess the training facility and operation of the internship program. It was also specified in the M.O.U. that both parties will ensure adherence to the training syllabus.

The M.O.U. was signed in the spirit of international cooperation and altruism. Affixing their signatures to the document were Rev. Fr. Juan Ponce, O.P., Letran Manila’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Baha HJ. Nordin, President of Infotrade Consultant.
