The 87th NCAA Lawn Tennis season ended with a bang for both the senior and junior teams of Colegio de San Juan de Letran as they swept their respective rivals to grab the championship crowns. The matches were held at the Rizal Tennis Center on February 15.

The Knights overwhelmed their rivals in the regular season, cruising to eleven victories without a loss, making the finals unnecessary. In the last match of the season, Dave William Regencia clobbered Lary Antigua of the College of St. Benilde, 6-3, 6-0. In the next match, Regencia partnering with Bryan Saarenas, showed no mercy in winning over the pair of Antigua and Rolee Joven, 6-3, 6-2. With this victory, the Letran Seniors team recorded its fourth consecutive championship this year.
Not to be outdone, the Juniors team also swept its opponents to come out with a clear slate in the tourney. Against San Sebastian College, Letran's Alberto Lim, Jr. rolled over Argil Canizares, 6-3, 6-4. Finally the pair of Lim and Andrew Joshua Cano balled over the pair of Canizares and John Rey Rudas, 6-3, 6-2. With this victory, the Letran Squires took home their first championship in ten years.
The victorious Seniors Team is composed of Jeffrie Jumawan, Renz Anthony Ma, Saarenas, and Regencia, an Operations Management student who was also named Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the fourth consecutive year. The triumphant Juniors Team is composed of Ivan Bruce Valenzuela, Cano, and Lim, who was likewise named MVP.
