Among the other applicants for the Rector’s Scholarship Program, Carla Marie Cornejo, a freshman student taking up Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts is this year’s Rector’s Scholar.
After rigid testing and screening procedures conducted by the Scholarship Committee, Rev. Fr. Tamerlane Lana, O.P. granted the Rector’s scholarship to Cornejo besting other applicants taking up other courses. Based on the Rector’s Scholarship Program guidelines, there should only be one grantee per school year.
The Rector’s Scholarship Program is given to academically outstanding students to pursue their education. The Program is part of Letran’s commitment and deication to academic excellence and outstanding scholastic achievement. Only freshmen students from different year levels (elementary to college) are eligible to apply.
Recipients enjoy full discount on tuition, miscellaneous and various fees. They are also given a monthly allowance.
