NEW CHAMPIONSHIP
TROPHIES FOR LETRAN
Letran has a reason to celebrate as the
Letran athletes brought home recently the Championship trophies of the
76th NCAA Taekwondo and Table Tennis Championships.
The Taekwondo Team, composed of
Reden Don Abratique, Leo Wilfred Amparo, Allen Chris Casimiro, John Denver
Cornejo, Albert Cusi, Richardson Halili, Benito Penzon and Ian Santiago,
beat the College of Saint Benilde (CSB) last February 7. The Letran Team
was coached by Ramelito and Rodolfo Abratique.
The Seniors, Juniors and Women’s
Table Tennis Teams, on the other hand, were also lucky to obtain the
Championship Trophies last February 10. They were coached by Noel Gonzales
and Jose Jude Thaddeus Florante.
Meanwhile, Letran Football Team
will try to place first in the forthcoming NCAA Football Championship on
February 24.
The Track and
Field Team is preparing to gain the Championship as it opens on February
22 and ends on March 5.
