CHRISTMAS CHEERS TO THE PROVINCIAL
An annual event traditionally called the “Greetings to the Provincial” gathered yet again many brothers from different communities to spread Christmas cheer to each other and especially to Brother Pedregosa, the Provincial. Last December 20, 2010, close to seventy brothers exchanged gifts, sang songs and danced their way through. Each community was asked to have a short presentation, from which a prize will be given to the best group. Although many gave their best, the prize went to the brothers from the Priory of Saint Thomas Aquinas. Their presentation consisted of musical renditions from indigenous and modern instruments, messages and antics to tickle the heart and mind. The Provincial, in response, gave a very heart-warming message of gratitude and expressed his joy for each other for the Christmas season. A simple lunch ended the affair.
